Ramapo Valley District

Provisional T-Troop

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco

August 3rd  -9th  2014

Traditionally, T-Troop was formed for new scouts who had joined the Boy Scouts just before school ended in June. It has now transformed into a provisional Troop for Scouts that are working on Tenderfoot, Second/First Class rank advancements and also for scout who would like to attend another week of summer camp.

We want to add to a Scouts’ camping outdoor experience. Working with experienced adult leaders from the district, the scouts will gain confidence and have fun while enjoying an adventurous week of camp. The Ramapo Valley District organizes this provisional Troop. Leadership of the Troop will be provided by the District.

June 24th 2014 T-Troop Prep Meeting -

Location: Heneveld Hall, Wyckoff Reformed Church

The Troop will participate fully in the program at camp just as any other Troop. In addition, the scouts will be given a thought foundation in basic scout skills. The main objective of the week is to have each scout complete the requirements for his next rank, and or complete additional merit badges. As part of this week at camp the scout will be better prepared to take on a more active role in the Troop outdoor Program throughout the rest of the year.
