COPE at Camp Lewis is run by volunteers and is constantly serching for enthisiastic young men and women who share our passion for the outdoors and high adventure! Serving on COPE Staff is a great way for older scouts to add energy to their scouting carreer, and increase their leadership experience,

The current staff can run a course every two or three weeks through the fall and spring.  If we had more staff we could run more courses!

Do you know someone 15 years or older who would like to volunteer just three Saturdays a year to help run the COPE Course?

To join the staff of the COPE course at Camp Lewis we ask that you must be:

At least 15 years old,

A graduate of a COPE Course including some high elements (can be waived),

Attend a staff training weekend OR help out at three COPE courses as a trainee,

Willing to commit to working on the COPE Course three Saturdays in the next 12 month.
