The Executive Board of the Northern New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America cordially invites you to attend its 3rd Annual Prepared. For Life. Friends of Scouting Dinner, a community-wide event showcasing scouting in North Jersey for all alumni, good friends, and supporters.
New York Mets National Baseball Hall of Famer Mike Piazza will keynote the dinner and share his personal story demonstrating the Scouting values. The dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 26th at Mayfair Farms in West Orange. A reception will take place at 6:00 pm with a dinner and program at 7:00 pm. Over 600 Scout alumni, Business Leaders, and Civic Society members were in attendance last year!
Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime evening of fellowship with Mike Piazza in support of Scouting in Essex, Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson counties!
The Prepared for Life Dinner serves as the centerpiece for the 2017 Friends of Scouting program to build capacity and support for programs which impact nearly 14,000 young people in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, and Hudson counties. There will be an opportunity and expectation during the dinner program for all guests to make a pledge of financial support…a suggested $300 for an individual gift, to $3,000 for a corporate table of ten…to Scouting’s 2017 annual giving campaign...however there is no set ticket cost to attend.
If you wish to host a table, do not have a specific table host, or wish to attend, please contact Karen Niemann via firstname.lastname@example.org
