Floodwood Mountain Scout Reservation is permitted to operate by the New York State Department of Health. Floodwood is required to be inspected twice annually. For information regarding past inspections, please direct inquires to the Northern New Jersey Council Service Center (201-677-1000) attention Grey Rolland. NY state also provides a brochure, "Children's Camps in New York State," (Brochure Code #3601) which is available to the public which outlines the rights and responsibilities of campers and camp operators. This brochure may be found at http://w3.health.state.ny.us/ under Title 10, Part 7, Subpart 7-2 or you may request the brochure be sent to you by mail for free by calling the NY DOH at 518-474-5370.
